Jakarta (ANTARA) \u2013 The organizers of the 2023 Global Transport Ticketing Awards in the United Kingdom have named Jakarta's BUMD subsidiary, JakLingko Indonesia, as a finalist in the \u201cMost Innovative Customer Serving Operator\u201d category for its integrated fare program in the capital.<\/p>

\u201cWe hope that the implementation of the integrated fare provides great benefits for transportation users in Jakarta. As it turns out, this program has also been highlighted and appreciated internationally, leading to its inclusion in the \u2018Most Innovative Customer Serving Operator\u2019 category,\u201d said the President Director of PT JakLingko Indonesia, Muhamad Kamaluddin, in an official statement in Jakarta, Monday.<\/p>

He admitted that this brings its own sense of pride, especially in this international arena, as it represents a new achievement for JakLingko Indonesia to continue enhancing service innovation for the public.<\/p>

He also explained that PT JakLingko Indonesia is committed to contributing to the increase in the number of public transport users in Jakarta.<\/p>

In addition, JakLingko is also striving to expand the same program to other regions to support the programs of the Jakarta Provincial Government and the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation in reducing congestion and facilitating citizen mobility.<\/p>

This marks the second year that PT JakLingko Indonesia has been nominated for an award in the transportation sector.<\/p>

Previously, in 2022, PT JakLingko Indonesia won the \u201cHighly Commended Smart Ticketing Programme\u201d award at the Transport Ticketing Global Awards for the Best Smart Ticketing Programme (200k+ Daily Journey) category, which took place at Olympia, London, UK.<\/p>

This award marks the success of PT JakLingko Indonesia as a pioneer in integrating public transportation payment systems currently used for four transportation modes: MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, Transjakarta, and the Commuterline in Jakarta and its surrounding areas.<\/p>

The theme of this year's Transport Ticketing Global Awards is \u201cShaping the future of smart ticketing and mobility.\u201d<\/p>

The awards ceremony will be held on March 7-8, 2023, at the Royal Garden Hotel, Olympia, London, UK.<\/p>
