Jakarta (ANTARA) \u2013 The subsidiary of the Jakarta BUMD, PT JakLingko Indonesia, as the manager of the intermodal payment system, is preparing an intermodal integrated fare in DKI Jakarta, which is planned to be launched in the near future.<\/p>

Regarding the integrated fare, the President Director of PT JakLingko Indonesia, Muhamad Kamaluddin, in Jakarta, Friday, stated that online motorcycle taxis are not included in the scheme; however, application-based motorcycle public transportation supports JakLingko's policies.<\/p>

In addition to the launch of the integrated fare, Kamaluddin explained that PT JakLingko Indonesia is also preparing a number of additional features to perfect the JakLingko application so it becomes even easier for the public to travel using public transportation.<\/p>

Currently, Kamaluddin revealed that purchases and payments are not only made to order tickets for four transportation modes\u2014including TransJakarta, MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, and Commuterline\u2014but can also simultaneously order online motorcycle taxis (ride sharing) that have been integrated with the JakLingko application.<\/p>

According to Kamaluddin, the system is like ticket \"bundling,\" so ordering can simply be done through the JakLingko application for those departing from home to their destination using public transportation.<\/p>

Kamaluddin emphasized that these online motorcycle taxi fares will not be included in the integrated fare scheme, so the application of those taxi fares will still refer to each provider that has determined its service rates.<\/p>

\u201cFor online motorcycle taxis, the fare will fluctuate according to the service provider's policy. Meanwhile, on the JakLingko application, public transport fares are charged according to the currently applicable rates. Unless the integrated fare is later implemented, then the use of more than one mode will be charged a maximum of Rp10,000,\u201d said the man usually called Kamal.<\/p>

Along with the approaching launch agenda, JakLingko Indonesia is also integrating Electronic Money Cards (KUE) from various banks that can later be used to switch public transportation modes.<\/p>
